David Benson - actor, writer, singer, director

Well, what is there to say...... Are you sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin.

A black country lad (I use the term loosely!) now living in Scotland, but still can't do the accent! Well, when I try it's more like Mrs Overall meets Mrs Doubtfire - but thats' another story. LIfe in the Highlands is, for the most, tranquil but I do allow myself the odd indulgence! 

I work for a charity supporting visually impaired people and have recently joined a local theatre group - heaven knows why, but it seemed a good idea at the time! I also work, from time to time, as an audio describer for live theatre and have just been elected to the board of the Audio Describers Association (Scotland) - they were desperate!

I first saw Mr Benson on stage during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 1996 (Think no evil of us) and have been a fan ever since, but alas rarely see him. The last time, was again at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 'To be Frank'.

Well, there we are, I've actually got around to writing something in this blank space.... But enough for now: TIme to head for the arms of Morpheus - I hope his feet aren't cold!
