James Cotter’s work in theatre include Bill Kenwright's number one tour of Agatha Christie's 'Witness For The Prosecution' at The Princess Theatre Torquay, 'Jesus Christ Superstar' at The Exeter Northcott, Bill Kenwright's European Tour of 'Evita' at The Bath Theatre Royal and The Bristol Hippodrome, 'Cabaret' at The Sidmouth Manor Pavilion, 'Allo 'Allo!' at The Barnfield Theatre, 'The Sound of Music' at The Exeter Northcott, 'The Taming of the Shrew' at The Carlton Theatre Teignmouth, 'Improperly' at The South Devon Arts Centre, 'Acorn Antiques The Musical!' at The Barnfield Theatre, 'The Day We Played Brazil' at The Exeter Northcott, 'Jack and the Beanstalk', 'Round and Round the Garden', 'The Adventures of Mr. Toad', 'The Tempest' and 'Twelfth Night' all on tour. James also regularly performs as his comic character 'The Comedy Inspector' at regular comedy clubs including sets at The Riviera Fringe Festival. His work as a compare includes presenting awards at The South West Music Awards two years in a row (2012 & 2013), The Big Night Out a charity event at The Thistle Hotel, Exeter with Shane Richie (Eastenders) and various events including corporate lunches at Sandy Park and The Devon County Show. DBS checked drama workshop teacher with experience working both with adults, children and children with special requirements. He currently works at a school in Exeter as a teaching assistant and playworker. His agent is Act Now and Patrick Management.
